I am up early today...we have a lovely room again (Best Western rocks), a two room suite. That made it easy to let Craig sleep, and let me sit in the living room and catch up a bit on this blog. Yesterday was a challenging day for me..I am not that comfortable driving in the rainy weather, especially in a tiny car. I do better when I am driving, so I drove for hours in the thunderstorms, winding through the hills near Albuquerque, and dodging hug trucks. It really set my nerves on edge. By the time we got to our destination I was toast...lol The cool part is that Craig was able to see all the lightening, and the clouds, and describe them to me as we drove.
It was a good day, but not great..today feels better! I am feeling the altitude a little--feeling kind of breathless...but that's all, thankfully. I love my husband so much, and am looking forward to seeing his face as he sees the Grand Canyon for the first time--a life long dream fulfilled! Thanks to all for your prayers!!
