Mom's pain is better today, for the most part. Her pain medicine does keep it under control. Her biggest issue today is being very breathless, and this has gotten worse throughout the day today. She is retaining a whole lot of fluid since the surgery, and this makes it harder to breathe. They started her on Lasex today, a diuretic, and they do think that will make a big difference. They took an xray of her chest, and they do not see any problems.
She will be going to rehab within the next few days. My brother comes in on Friday night, which will be wonderful!
Please keep mom in your prayers...she has not much sleep at all.
