From Room 623A

Well, I am sitting here in Mom's bed at Jersey Shore, on my laptop, and Mom is downstairs getting an echocardiogram. She is doing really really well today! Her pain level is better, her breathing is better, and they took out her central line. All she is hooked to know is a heart monitor and an IV shunt. No other tubes! She will head to Health South in Tinton Falls tomorrow. She will be there for a week or so. She is not thrilled about rehab, but she is trusting the doctors who tell her she needs it. If she tells you that we are forcing her, don't believe her--it is doctor's orders!
Michael is at court right now, with Jim Kelly...please be praying for leniency! He has a perfectly clean record before this--plus, being in the Marine Corps delayed entry program is good! PLUS-- Jim Kelly is taking him to court...all good things! His root canals start tomorrow at 3:30. Please be praying for him, and for Sarah Brevet, as she continues her wonderful dental skills!
Christopher and Mary are home with us for a while...they are settling into married life beautifully! They are attempting to fly out to Cali to look for housing, but the Army told him today that he doesn't qualify for free standby military flights because he isn't activated. He is talking with his unit about what can be done about this. They are such a cute couple! Having them in the house is so wonderful for us all! I LOVE my new daughter!!!
