Today is Tuesday, and my brother and I are hanging out with mom in her room. It is pretty funny, because I am sitting here on my laptop, my brother is using Mom's and Mom is watching Planet Earth on her portable DVD player. We are techno geeks, for sure!! Mom is continuing to heal well...her worst problem at this point is zero sleep. She has too much back pain to be in the bed, so every day I lay here and even catch some zzzzz's. But, she sleeps in her chair, if she sleeps at all. Last night she slept one hour. Tonight she is going to try a little sleep aid . Praying this helps.
She might be released from rehab on Friday or Saturday.
Craig and I took Alan down to Avon beach for dinner (we brought Jersey Mike's -mmmmm), where he was finally able to stick his feet in the water! Up until now, we have been either at rehab, or cleaning Mom's apt to help her out. It was a gorgeous evening, and brought back a lot of memories for both Craig and I, and also Alan. Makes us miss Craig's dad, Glenn, very much. It was a wonderful night!
