Mom has been sprung...she is out of HealthSouth and home with us. She is planning to stay here for a few days, until she has her bearings. She hasnt dozed even a wink all day long, mostly because she was just so glad to be here with everyone. Being surrounded by the grandchildren was the best medicine she could have!!! Nick was home, with Shayna, Christopher and Mary were here, and Mikey and Nicole came later...the icing on the cake was that Katy was online, and we were partially able to Skype with her, for 2 hours! Her webcam was not set up , so she couldn't talk to us and we coudn't see her, but she could see and hear ALL of us perfectly!!!! IT WAS AMAZING...we all talked with her, and she answered back via instant messenger. It could not have been better!! We took the laptop all over the house showing her this and that. She was able to "meet" Mikey's new girlfriend Nicole. What a great day!
But now I am completely worn out and have to go to sleep! The gang is out in the living room playing a board game, but I am going to get some much needed rest! I am so grateful to the Lord for all these things...
