Thursday in Yosemite Part Two

Later in the day, we took a drive to Glacier Point. Glacier Point is a viewpoint above Yosemite Valley.  It is located on the south wall of Yosemite Valley at an elevation of 7,214 feet . The point offers an amazing view of Yosemite Valley, including Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, Vernal Fall, Nevada Fall and Clouds Rest. There really aren't words big enough to describe the beauty...magnificent?  yes!  Spectacular?  Absolutely!  But, oh so much more!

As we headed down from Glacier Point, back to our Evergreen Lodge, we saw a beautiful sunset through the forest...

What a wonderful day we had!  We got back to the lodge, headed to the restaurant for a late dinner, and then back to our cabin to play Hearts.  We did not last very long, because we were exhausted!  Tired, but very happy!
