The better news is that I just really didn't feel afraid, and that was an answer to prayer for SURE! Our flight should have taken 6 hours, but we had an awesome tailwind, so we made it in 5. My prayer was , not only would we be safe, but that I would enjoy it!~ I cannot believe I am saying this, but I DID! I had my Ipod, my Nook, books, music, and the other 1/2 of the xanax. But, it was just plain fun!
Mary picked us up at the airport, and we spent the afternoon with her, and Takoda, our granddog!
Mary had to teach a yoga class last night, so Craig went along--he did great!
We had a nice supper when they got home, and then Craig and I couldn't keep our eyes open. Jet lag is no joke, so not sure how long it takes to get over that!
Now it is Saturday, September 10th. Christopher is away at Army training, so we get one more day of Mary to ourselves. Craig helped Mary as she taught her first partner yoga class this morning. Where is that bottle of Advil???
Now we nap, and get ready for whatever this afternoon brings. Mary wants pasta salad, so I know I will be making that, but she cannot eat it until tomorrow afternoon because she has a 20 mile run in
the morning with the running club that she leads. Today she eats rice for dinner, and that is it. We are having a wonderful time here in Vacaville, California!
