Mary and Chris are back from their week in Sicklerville...they will be here for a week, then back down in Sicklerville for a week. Mary's mom and sis are taking a trip to Equador, so the kdis are house and dog sitting for a week--which is wonderful, because they ahve not had much alone time since they got married in June, other than their honeymoon. They are WONDERFUL company, and having them here is a breath of sweet fresh air...

Nicholas started Greek class this week, and is enjoying it! I am getting accustomed to his not being here--he will be coming home most weekends, so that is good! I am concentrated on trying to make food that he can freeze and eat for his dinners. He is living wiht a lovely Christian couple that rents out rooms ro seminary students. There will be another seminarian moving in to the other room by September. That will be great for Nick. He misses his sweetheart terribly! They do not like being apaprt AT ALL...Shayna and Nick will be married January 2nd, and time will fly until then, I am sure. Shayna is looking forward to starting school again--she LOVES Rutgers! She is beginning her Jr year there, studying Music and Classics (Latin). Her program is 5 years, rather than the standard 4.

Mike is doing ok..he is overwhelmed for sure, and struggling to figure out what to do. He has to register for classes now--he was accepted to Ocean County College. Now, to figure out what to study during his wait until Boot Camp. He needs a car, and is not able to buy one, so we are praying for yet another car miracle. He will have an endoscopy on the 13th, so please be praying for NO CHOKING between now and then..it is very scary. He is laso having phase two of the root canal on his tooth that was knocked out. So far so good..we are praying for extreme protection of those teeth during the endoscopy. He has a brand new girlfriend named Nicole. A very sweet girl!

KATYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...is coming home in
22 days!!! We are counting every moment until then, crossing it off..count down time! The bittersweet part is that she heads to college the very next day..and Christopher and Mary move 2 days after that. We are going to plan some sort of party, but not sure exactly what day. An open house. I miss her so much I can barely take it now..it is just SO close!!

Craig and I are supposed to drive Chris and Mary's 2nd car out to Cali for them, and then we will fly home. That will probably be the last few days of AUgust until September 4 or 5. We will fly home. Our 25th wedding anniversary is September 1st, so we will actually have a trip underway that day. I cannot believe it is already our silver anniversary...WOW~!
I have shingles, but obviously not a bad case, or I would be in agony. I have heard such horror stories, but so far, just some pain and a few blisters. I know it could be SO much worse! I am truly thankful to the Lord for this...GOD IS GOOD--every single day!
