Day 1--the road less traveled!

We had a wonderful first day! We made the decision to try to stop to see at least one unique and/or historical thing a day. Today, we stopped for TWO things! FOAMHENGE was first! lol An amazing life size replica of STONEHENGE! NOT TO BE MISSED! (ha ha ha)



A few miles down the road from Foamhenge was the Natural Bridge--so beautiful! We got the chance to take a nice walk in the woods, see the Bridge, see a little waterfall..



We had such a nice day! We drove 720 miles today, and settled in Knoxville, TN for the night. Tomorrow we will have been married for 25 years! We are going to spend the day walking around Nashville, having a nice dinner, seeing the sights...Christopher and Mary spent the day at the Grand Canyon. They will stay there again tomorrow night also. They are having a wonderful time too! We are so thankful for such lovely weather, and for this amazing opportunity to see this country of ours up close and personal!
